All Hail The New iPhone

It’s available in unbelievably low price ranges of $199 with 8GB of memory and $299 with 16GB which approximately comes to around 8000 INR (Indian Rupee) for the 8GB one. Hold on don’t rush to your nearest dealer yet – since there is none. India is not a part of the list of countries where iPhone 3G would be launched on June 11. 😦 But it will be launched in the 2nd round though. So stay tuned folks!

So what’s new in this edition – it is a UMTS/HSDPA and GSM world phone and it practically works anywhere on the planet. It also supports GPS mapping and enterprise applications like Microsoft Exchange and may be even Yahoo’s Zimbra. Check out for more details.

Is the price really possible?!
Yes. This has to do with the use of cheaper materials and by following new business models. Apple has also made some cost-cutting design changes, using plastic in
stead of metal on the new iPhone’s case.

Who would sell it in India?
Well if your guess was Airtel – you might be wrong! Because Vodafone has grabbed the lucrative offer and would be selling it in India and many other countries including Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey.

Get ready to grab your iPhone as soon as possible. 🙂

Until then enjoy this short video 🙂
